Well, we made it to the contest with a little help from some good friends of the Band.   Didn’t quite get the result we had hoped for but at least we made an appearance.    In addition, the Sarah Gardner Memorial trophy was presented by Mike Green Sarah’s Dad and her lovely daughter, Beth. It was very appropriate that the trophy was won by Sarah Baxendale from Old Hall Brass who has depped for Sarah on Solo Horn on a few occasions in the past.    Many congratulations to you Sarah. A big thank you to Phil Edwards for taking the baton over the last few weeks and now the fun starts with auditions for a new MD.
