Well sat 19 July saw our slow melody competition and BBQ at bandroom.   A great afternoon was enjoyed by all despite the threat of heavy rain and electric storms.  Tom Stevens won the junior slow melody with Jamie Edwards being runner up.   Following the BBQ the senior members swopped instruments to perform Lucy Long or Nessan Dorma.   Roland Attwood on sop (normally a bass player) won first prize with Dave Stevens taking second place.    Another great event for LHMB, now looking forward to a couple of weeks break before the start of the contest season in the autumn.   Thanks to all who helped to organise the event and our adjudicator Brian Harper.
