Lostock Hall Memorial Band are delighted to announce the new appointment of Mr Ryan Broad as Musical Director. 

During his time at the University of Salford he studied performance and conducting under the direction of Howard Evans, Tom Davoren and Brett Baker. In 2017 he graduated with an MA in Music.

Additionally, Ryan has played across Europe as a professional freelance musician; conducting both brass and woodwind ensembles. 

In response, Ryan added “ This appointment means a great deal to me as it’s where my musical career began. The band are full of positivity and potential, thus I’m looking forward to collaborating with them further. “ 

The band fondly anticipate to continue their development and success under Ryan’s leadership.
