Monday 23 December 2013 – our band were invited to visit Radio Lancashire’ studio in Blackburn to perform in the Late Show with
Alison Butterworth. 10 members went at approx. 9.30 pm to prepare for their performance commencing at 10.00 p.m. They played carols at approx. 10 minute intervals, the public were invited to request their favourite carols, and continued until approx. midnight. This was a great advert for LHMB and lots of posts were made on the Social Network sites.This event finalised a very busy carolling season for the players. They were seen at Asda, Tesco, Booths, Fishergate Centre, Rascals Nursery, and The Grapes at Wrea Green . They are now having a well earned rest before rehearsals commence on 3 January in readiness for two contests in the New Year. The Band would like to wish all our readers a Happy New Year for 2014.
