Well the finals at Cheltenham are now behind us. We came a respectable 7th place out of a field of 17 bands. We were slightly disappointed but still a reasonable position .     We had a great weekend at the Cheltenham centaur , played number 8 and the venue itself was better than we had anticipated. Avacab coaches from Leyland and the Ibis hotel in Gloucester both did us proud. We  now come down to earth with our 70th birthday event to look forward to at the Tory club in Lostock hall. Sun 4 November 3pm start, joint concert with present and past players taking part. Please come and support us. As usual FREE admission. Then a busy Christmas schedule will be upon us.
