Friday 1 November saw our new MD Brian Harper in action with the baton at Preston Masonic Hall. The theme of the concert was Remembrance Day and the audience enjoyed the nostalgic tunes of Nimrod, Pomp and Circumstance and popular songs from thewar years. Our Principal Cornet Player Gavin Coleman played ‘The Last post’ . Band are now looking forward  to Brian’s contribution to our Christmas concerts followed by two contests in the New Year.
